PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: August 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how GoatPlay Studios ("we", "us") handles information when you visit goatcrafting.com (the "Site") and when you play GoatCrafting for Android (the "Game"). If you have any questions, contact Martin Kroatic at [email protected].
1. Information we collect on the Site
The public pages of the Site do not use cookies, do not show ads and do not run analytics scripts. (A private administration area used only by our own staff sets a session cookie after signing in.) Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are not used to identify you and are deleted on rotation.
2. Information we collect in the Game
Your game progress (worlds, goats, settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not require you to create an account and we do not ask for your name, email address or contact details to play.
The Game is distributed through Google Play and uses Google Play services, which may process device identifiers and diagnostic information (such as crash reports) under Google's Privacy Policy. Depending on the version installed, the Game may also integrate the following third-party services, each of which processes data under its own policy:
- Google Play services (distribution, licensing, updates)
- Google AdMob (advertising), if ads are shown in your version
- Google Analytics for Firebase (aggregated usage statistics), if enabled in your version
When the Game starts it downloads its advertising configuration from this Site. That request carries a random installation identifier (generated on the device on first launch and unrelated to any device, account or advertising ID), the app version, the country of the SIM card or device locale, and the configuration version the app already has. We store these values to count active installations by day, country and version and to see how quickly a new configuration reaches players. We do not store IP addresses with this data, and it cannot be linked to you. Clearing the app's data resets the identifier. If ads are shown in your version, the Game also reports to this Site, under the same random identifier, the estimated revenue of each ad impression as provided by the advertising SDK (ad format, demand source, amount and currency) so that we can measure how the Game performs by country and version. This contains no personal data. If the Game stops unexpectedly, on its next start it may also send us a crash report under the same random identifier: the type of failure, the technical stack trace, the app version, the Android version and the device model. We use these only to find and fix bugs. The Game also reports simple gameplay events (a world was created, opened, closed, deleted or imported, and approximate multiplayer session lengths) so we can understand how the Game is used; world names and content are never sent, only an anonymous reference.
The data-safety section of our Google Play listing always reflects the exact services active in the current release.
3. How we use information
- To operate, maintain and improve the Site and the Game
- To diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- To answer messages you send us
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Children
The Game is designed to be suitable for everyone. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
5. Data retention and security
Game progress lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall the Game or clear its data. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. We apply reasonable technical measures (such as HTTPS on the Site) to protect information in transit.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Union), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Write to [email protected] and we will help.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date above. Meaningful changes to what the Game collects will always be reflected here before they ship.
